Barnes and Morgan: Reviews & Ratings
Nice pleasant environment. aA great variety of teas I tried two different herbal blends. They all were delicious!
From the moment that we walked into this beautiful space, I felt the kind of vibe most befitting of such a gorgeous tea shop. It was recommended by the Oregon Black Pioneers for which I am most grateful. The owner, Amir, was as attentive as he is knowledgeable about various tea blends and responsible sourcing. He gave lessons on how tea drinking around the world shaped his views on its subtle complexity and wanted to share it in this historical part of Portland. We were able sample a new Brew and take some home. Amir's teas are partnered with his next level clothing line. He "tailors to the tea" so to speak. His incomparable stylings are worthy of world-renowned runways but are comfortable enough to be worn to my office on any given Wednesday. All in all, I am looking forward to my next sip while I slay in my new ensemble...
Discovered this place after a history tour. Black owned, beautiful space to relax and have conversation, nice art and quality tea with great hospitality (rare these days). In the back is shop of curated original quality designer clothing and accessories. Hearing the owner it was apparent alot of thought and vision was put into it. These are the type of places that enriches Portland.
Come for the tea and stay for the fashion. I stumbled in to find a cozy spot in a neighborhood that needs a change. Also, I see this place fitting in the niche that Dr. Brew and other tea spots once held. Amir has a great vision for the space after talking with him. One suggestion I would have is to have a wider variety of teas. I did really like the ginger tea he suggested. I’ll definitely be back with friends. Thank you for sharing your space and vision.
Awesome black-owned tea spot in Old Town! Really great vibes, service was really good and the tea was delicious. Nice to see a place like this in Old Town and it should be a go-to for anyone in the area. Wide selection of teas and not too expensive. Definitely roll through and give it a try.
You ever want to relax in a tea shop, kick back and feel the vibes, then this is the place. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to hang or just to study. Me and my friend got the ginger peach, and the white tea lemonade. Sooo good! They sell all of there teas in bagged bundles for anyone who finds one they love.
We stumbled upon this welcoming space to have some tea, but stayed when Amir shared his incredible journey from being a textile engineer by day to his ambition of revitalizing the neighborhood in his free time. He poured us this beautiful white tea that was so delicious!! In the back, he showcases his great taste in fashion and designs he’s brewing. Can’t wait to come back!!
